Military Benefits Accepted

Westcliff University accepts a wide range of education benefits for veterans, active-duty military, and eligible family members. These benefits can be applied to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.

Scholarship Support

The Military Admissions and Advising team helps veterans identify and apply for national scholarships that can supplement the GI Bill, covering costs such as books, supplies, technology, housing, and certification fees.

Post - 9/11 GI Bill®

Helps qualified veterans and their families cover all or part of tuition and training costs.

Yellow Ribbon Program

Covers tuition and fees that exceed the Post-9/11 GI Bill® cap, reducing or even eliminating out-of-pocket expenses for eligible students.

Montgomery GI Bill® Active-Duty

Provides monthly benefits to veterans who served on active duty and paid into the program through payroll deductions.

Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR)

Available for members of the Selected Reserve, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Reserve.

VA Education Benefits for Survivors and Dependents

Helps eligible family members of veterans – such as spouses and children – access educational assistance.

Entrepreneurship Training

Prepares eligible veterans for small business ownership and self-employment through education and guidance programs.

Scholarship Support for Veterans at Westcliff

At Westcliff University, our Bachelor’s programs in Technology, Business, and Education are designed to align with the high-demand careers of tomorrow. As a private institution focused on career readiness, we offer programs that qualify for the Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship.

This VA initiative provides up to 9 months (or $30,000) of additional Post-9/11 GI Bill® benefits to eligible students. If you are pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, or other qualifying STEM fields, you may be eligible to extend your benefits to complete your journey toward a rewarding career.

Please note that these scholarships are not administered by Westcliff, but our Military Admissions and Advising team can help you find options, organize documents, and plan funding that may start with the GI Bill, then add scholarships, and use the Yellow Ribbon Program when needed. Many of our veteran students successfully apply for scholarships each year, with our assistance.
